Your role:

As a Junior CFO, you will support the financial management of various portfolio companies within the AUCTUS Group. In this role, you will take on responsibility early on and develop into a key liaison between the investment team, external advisors, and the operating companies.

A particular focus of the role is on accounting, corporate governance, and the management of international investment structures. The position is aimed at candidates with a strong aptitude for numbers who wish to develop toward CFO and executive management responsibilities in the long term.

Your tasks:

• Serving as managing director of several fund vehicles within the group

• Responsibility for the day-to-day accounting and documentation of investments and equity transactions

• Assistance in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements

• Management and oversight of holding companies and portfolio companies

• Coordination of external auditors, tax advisors, and legal counsel

• Assistance with corporate law issues and corporate governance matters

• Cash management, liquidity planning, and treasury tasks

• Collaboration on financing, M&A, and restructuring projects

• Optimization and further development of reporting, accounting, and compliance processes

Your profile:

• A bachelor’s or master’s degree in business administration, finance, accounting, law, or a comparable qualification

• At least 3–5 years of relevant professional experience in accounting, audit, corporate services, finance, or legal

• Ideally, professional experience at an audit firm (Big 4) or a corporate services provider

• Strong understanding of accounting, corporate law, and corporate structures

• Strong analytical skills and a high affinity for numbers

• Structured, independent, and precise work style

• Entrepreneurial mindset and interest in private equity

• Fluent in English; German is a Plus

• Willingness to assume leadership and management responsibilities in the long term
